Kane & Kanaloa were gods who took human form, Kanaloa was tall and fair, was said to be the leader of the first group of spirits placed on earth after earth was separated from heaven. Kane, darker and shorter than Kanaloa, caused plants that would be food for man to grow. They were awa drinkers, cultivators & water finders.
